HOW TO GET INVOLVED

The SFPC is a volunteer-run organization and we welcome volunteers who want to help us. We have ongoing projects that you can support depending on your interest, ability or time.

SILKSCREEN CLASSES The SFPC runs an eight week class that teaches screen printing and Photoshop as a tool for activism. The class runs from 1-4pm on Saturdays during the spring, summer and fall. You can volunteer before, during or after class as a teaching assistant or a studio intern. Volunteers are also needed to help with class set up, clean up, flyering and publicity.

POSTER CAMPAIGNS The SFPC makes graphic art to support community organizations and to reclaim public space. Join us for our current campaign. The SFPC will provide free supplies and a silkscreen studio, we will print our work together and we will wheatpaste the streets as a group. You can get involved by designing a poster and printing your work or you can help other SFPC members print and paste their work. All skill levels are welcome. No experience necessary.

MURALS The SFPC curates an ongoing mural wall for the Clarion Alley Mural Project. We make work that ties into our poster campaigns and maximizes our media impact. The murals rotate every six months with a new artist and new work. You can help us paint, install and publicize our murals. You can also help out with the street party and media event that celebrates every new unveiling.
